The Contractor.
Adrian Zepeda's upbringing in the construction industry is one unlike many others. At the early age of 14 years old, he was already his father's "right hand" when building their family home in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. It was during this part of his childhood that started it all and would stick with him after immigrating to the US. Immediately out of high school he decided to make construction his life career. He had the privilege of working with a prestigious contractor in beautiful Bald Head Island. It was at this first official job that he continued to develop all the passion he holds for construction. Later guiding him to the establishing of A to Z Builders.
During this period of time, Adrian learned professional practices within the field. He was dedicated and eager to learn all trades involved in building beautiful crafted homes. “It became an addiction to finish a project, step back and admire the craft I created with my own hands”, he explains. Fast forward to 2014, Adrian created his first company A to Z Construction. It was with this first business that he became one of the largest subcontractors in the area. Running at one point about 50 men on multiples crews.
In this season of his career, he had the opportunity to learn from many General Contractors in the area - which he refers to as a blessing. But the biggest opportunity he was given, was through these experiences the recognition of customer's needs during the building process.
It was then in 2017 when A to Z Builders LLC was formed. At this point he had become a General Contractor himself and wanted to mark this time of his life and company by rebranding his business. The vision of A to Z Builders was clear to him since the beginning, “I wanted to create a company where my customers would know through our customer service, communication and professionalism that they and their project are of most importance to us”. In 2024, A to Z Builders has grown to become a contractor in the Brunswick County area known for their beautiful homes and amazing renovations. Customers know their business model is to accommodate all their needs - and with all the personnel, software and experience, they know they and their projects are in good hands.
Adrian has now been married for 16 Years and has 3 beautiful children with his wife Lauryn, 35. Landyn who’s 7 years old is already “drawing plans” on his tablet. Davis, a wild and full of life 3 year old and their new baby girl Sofia. Adrian's personal life revolves around God, family and building. As the son of Pastors and a full family that serves in different ministries, it should not be a surprise to embrace in conversation with him and at some point or another hear testimonies of Gods miracles and works within his family.
Architectural Designer
Working closely with homeowners, Michael transforms ideas into detailed custom home plans and construction-ready drawings. When he's not designing and drafting, you'll find in the field serving as one of our Project Managers, helping ensure every project runs smoothly from concept to completion.

Michael Breeden
Michael was born and raised on a cattle farm in Scotland County, NC, where he developed a strong work etch and a love for agriculture. After attending UNC Charlotte with an interest in architecture, he built a 40+ career in architectural design, engineering, and construction management, contributing to both residential and commercial projects around the world.
Michael moved to Ocean Isle Beach in 1990. He is blessed to have his son, Morgan, and has been happily married to his wife, Melissa, for 11 years. Together they are grateful for their blended family, including a stepson, stepdaughter, and grandchildren.
Michaels faith has always been the foundation of his life. Outside of work, he enjoys farming, caring for the family's animals, building the homestead, spending time with family, and hosting game nights-as long as he wins!
Sales & Marketing Coordinator
Kristin Gettleman
Having called coastal North Carolina home for over 12 years, Kristin brings a genuine passion for people, creativity, and community to A to Z Builders. As the Sales & Marketing Coordinator, she enjoys connecting with homeowners and helping guide them through the exciting first steps of building their dream home. Her Love for marketing, storytelling, and building relationships helps showcase the craftsmanship and values behind every project.
Outside of work, Kristin enjoys family photography, hiking, relaxing by the pool, baking, caring for more than 150 houseplants, and spending time with her Golden Retriever, Ace.
Sales & Marketing Coordinator
As our Sales & Marketing Coordinator, this role serves as the bridge between home owners and the A to Z Builders team from the very first interaction. Responsibilities include coordinating the sales process, managing customer communication, overseeing website content, social media, photography, and marketing initiatives, while ensuring a seamless and informative experience throughout each stage of the client's journey. Through strong communication, relation building, and strategic marketing, this role helps showcase the quality, craftsmanship, and values that define A to Z Builders.

Alan Trojan
Alan and his wife retired to Sunset Beach in 2020 from the Winston-Salem, NC area. He previous employer was Duke Energy, where Alan was a Systems Engineer. His hobbies include cooking and fishing. Fishing as often as he can, and really enjoying the bounty that this area brings.

Sales Support Specialist plays a key role in keeping every project
moving smoothly. From preparing proposals and coordinating schedules
to managing customer communications and organizing essential paperwork, they provide the behind-the-scenes support that keeps our sales team efficient and our clients informed throughout the process.
Accounting
Our in House accounting team plays a vital role in keeping every project running smoothly from start to finish. By carefully managing budgets, invoices, payments, and financial reporting, they help ensure every detail is handled with accuracy and integrity. Their commitment to organization and transparency allows our clients to have confidence throughout the building process while helping our team stay ahead of project timelines, cash flow, and vendor relationships. The attention to detail, professionalism, and dedication behind the scenes allow our project managers and builders to focus on what they do best- bringing each clients vision to life with confidence and peace of mind.
Fernando's life revolves around his wife, children and pets. "My wife and I met in vocational school, culinary arts so we love eating / experimenting with food. She is also my #1 helper in all my side projects and best friend.
My teens - one enjoys art and music while the other is into art and taxidermy. They are 14 going on 24. We have two 60lb dogs, two under 10lb dogs, a leopard gecko, and a sulcata tortoise. My wife and I are highschool sweethearts.
I went to Johnson and Whales University where I trained to be a chef.
I got into the construction industry over a decade ago through a friend and roommate and have been with it ever since.
Our family's dream is to own a small farm that we build ourselves. With a small farm store and a couple short term rentals where we can grow most our own food and own more animals."

Joe Lewis
Joe Lewis was born and raised right here in Brunswick County, in the area of Bolivia. He is married with two beautiful daughters.
"Sports has always been a part of my life from a young age. I've played football, baseball & wrestled throughout school. I graduated from South Brunswick High School.
Since graduating in 2001 I have been working construction. I have built houses from the ground up as well as remodeled. My biggest passion is trim work, for the detail you put into it. My ultimate goal was to do more mental work on the construction site & be more involved with homeowners.
In my free time, I like to play slow pitch softball and spend time with my family. Softball has given me opportunities to travel and see new places."

Danielle Celorio
Danielle is a Charleston, SC native who has spent most of her working life immersed in Southern hospitality and tourism industry. This background makes her acutely aware of what it takes to maintain excellent customer service. As a mother to twins and a homeschooling mom she constantly has to coordinate between keeping up with the latest curriculum, shuffling her kids to various activities, and maintaining their family home. She learned how to multi-task on an entirely different level than what is typically required in the work field. All this experience allowed her to open and run a small business while living in the mountains in NC. Once the family moved back to Charleston she joined her husband working construction in the field. “I feel that it is so important to be able to maintain your home in every manor, whether that is cooking and cleaning or fixing leaks in plumbing and replacing electrical outlets.” In her down time she enjoys going to theme parks and riding roller coasters or going back to the mountains to visit old friends and hike to waterfalls.

Pablo is bilingual & 36 years old, bilingual, and passionate about building lasting relationships with homeowners. With more than 12 years of experience in the construction industry, he has worked in a variety of roles, giving him a well-rounded understanding of the building process. Today, he continues to expand his knowledge and leadership as one of our Project Mangers, helping guide projects from start to finish with care and attention to detail.

Outside of work, Pablo is a devoted family man who serves his community as a youth pastor and musician. As a soon to be father, he understands the sacrifices families make to achieve their dreams and the importance of creating a place they can truly call home.

Kevin Chappell
Kevin was born in Pickens County, SC and later relocated to NC. He is married with two kids, and has always been around the construction industry since he was fifteen years old.
In his free time he enjoys golfing, fishing and cruising. His work ethic has always been a huge characteristic that sets him apart from others. Kevin has always put his faith in Christ first, allowing that foundation to guide his decisions and shape his character.]
